second little red wagon is done (the one the right)

Hoo boy, it's looking good!
More progress!
And when I got back to the truck, my phone had some news to share:

Which is probably why my work boots look like this:

Wow - you're busy as a beaver!
My latest wood work efforts were waaaay less laborious: I added a quite simple additional "display" for the "PC museum"...
Coming back from Charlotte and got caught in the worst snow in years here. What made it worse is that it was right at the spot where we have to go up a huge mountain with 8 - 10 degree grades in spots. We actually had to stop at our daughters home to wait out the initial hammering as the area was not prepared for it. There were trucks and cars bouncing off of guardrails and each other all around us. Pictured is a military transport that jacknifed and took a few cars with it. We got past that, hung out for a few hours then crossed all our fingers and toes and headed over the mountain.

Wow!
Glad you made it save & sound!! 8-)
There's winter gale approaching over here...
Forecast talks about wind speeds of 100 km/h (62 mph) and gusts up to 120 km/h (75 mph) on Sunday and Monday...
if it makes you guys feel better it was almost 70 here yesterday. blue sky's, white puffy clouds, cool breeze.
today, low 60's with slight drizzle.
tomorrow, back to 70 degrees.
8-)
What's really odd is we had 70s and monsoon rain for days prior. It's been chaotic weather this winter.

this has been parked here for a week. finally drove by and scopped out the situation. im pretty sure it's owned by a homeless person who is probably living out of it. neat to see though

IIRC a buddy of mine lived out of his T3 Squareback for some time back in '88... :o
This is what an oil change looks like in 23° weather.

huh, does oil even flow at that temp?
it might have hit 80 degrees today. nice day, went for a bike ride after work. supposed to be 85 tomorrow. and by Sunday, low 60's. :? wtf
oh man, i just laid down a bitchen paint job on a 66 Nova model. Testors model master burgundy red metallic. it laid down great, nice and flat, no orange peal. pic's tomorrow cause florescent lights don't do it justice. i don't normally paint anything red (or redish) cause im not a fan, but this color is just cool, it darkens up in the shade, but gets really bright in direct lite and is loaded with metallic. i was like :o
hoping i can get pic's that do it justice.
and this isn't even in sunlight. you can see how the color shifts on body lines and edges 8-)

also, they're filming part of a 911 episode in the park by my house. they've got i think it's a Cessna hanging upside down by a few cranes

neighbors posted better pic's on nextdoor yesterday

Looking really warm there, man.
Today:

it's been about 80 the last few days (a little warm for this time of year). it was overcast today so it was muggy, but i still went for a bike ride so it wasn't to bad. supposed to be in the low 60's by Sunday.
