A day in the life...

i hadn't dusted my bedroom in 14 months. the dust bunnies were getting around in dune buggies, and they don't run mufflers so it was keeping me up at night  so i just spent 5 hours cleaning. im about 85% done, major difference! i can already breath better. also, i hate to say it, but i think i have to many model cars on display. no joke, that was about 3 hours of the cleaning right there.

That's one meaty controller.

There's a road here called the road to nowhere or the broken promise. It's a road that was promised to communities pushed out of an area that was dammed and flooded in the 40's. They were promised access to the old cemeteries but during construction, the government stated that they couldn't continue because of minerals leaching from the ground that were harmful to the environment. The road ends shortly after a tunnel through the mountain. The pavement literally just ends. Hiking trails have been created past the road and it's become a pretty neat place to spend the day. My family surprised me with a road trip to the trails for my birthday.

Hey, that looks like it was a cool hike... 8-)

Randy, it seems you're collecting game controllers too... :)

Well, my latest paint job was far from being as accurate as yours.
Simply painted the flanges of the new heater hose connectors for the Bug...

i don't really collect controllers. that's just one of the controllers for the NES hooked up out in the garage. i got board and painted it and detailed the arrows on the D pad. looks cool though so...

gotta do something, im off work for 2 weeks  been building model cars as well. got stuff going together for the sake of putting stuff together. the good news, i might be able to eliminate a box in the garage pretty soon. the bad news, i have nowhere to display the cars once they're built

Yesterday was a goodish hand day and that means it was haircut day!

Are you going from Bilsteins to K's? Was there a performance issue with the prior or was it just time for replacement?

I've heard if you know someone like Elon, you can simply disregard anything your state puts in place.

The Bilsteins lift the rear a bit. To use their full potential I need to lower the rear.
Although the Bug already handles and corners almost neutral with the Bilsteins.

With the Konis the rear sits a tad lower plus they're adjustable.
A quick test ride with the Konis adjusted to the "soft" position showed only a "mild" over steer in turns.
They're not as firm as the Bilstein Rally version and I have the feeling that with the Konis the rear chassis is less stressed.
I think I'll keep them for now.

not sure even having Elon on a conference call would help. it's because of "protests" and rioting.
